A woman in the Bihar capital has refused to live with her husband, arrested for alleged rape of a minor girl, police said on Monday.

She publicly announced she was ending her marriage to him and refused to live with him any more," a district police official said.Shankar Ram was absconding after he raped a minor daughter of his neighbour early this month, said police."Police arrested him finally and produced in the court that sent him to judicial custody for 14 days."Vimla told him in the presence of police official that it was shameful for her to continue relationship with a rape accused husband.Though Shankar pleaded with her, Vimla did not budge.PTI
