OROP stir: L-G transfers Delhi Police team over crackdown on ex-servicemen
In a major reshuffle, the Delhi Lt Governor on Friday transferred 35 police officials including Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Vijay Singh, who was involved in the crackdown on agitating army veterans demanding One-Rank-One-Pension at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.

PTI[/caption]Singh has been transferred to the north-west district of Delhi Police, a senior police official said, adding Jatin Narwal, currently additional DCP in New Delhi district, will replace him.In northwest district, Vijay Singh will replace DCP N Gnanasambandan, who has been transferred to the Police Training College as its new Vice-Principal, the official said.The reshuffle included six officials of ACP rank who have been transferred on promotion, the official added.PTI
