Pressure after its founder and editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal was arrested by the Goa Police on a sexual harassment charge and resignation of its managing editor Shoma Chaudhury recently is showing up on Tehelka, as the news magazine handed pink slips to around 35 employees on Thursday.

Most of these sacked employees belonged to the circulation department, a Business Standard report said."The termination of these employees has put into question of how the magazine will send future copies of the magazine to its subscribers. A source in Tehelka said the decision was communicated by the publisher, Nina Tejpal to the terminated employees through an email"—the Business Standardreport said.
