Limit yourself to household chores, Bhagwat to married women

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) supremo Mohan Bhagwat has done it again. This time the RSS boss raised questions on the sanctity of the institution of marriage by saying that married women should limit themselves to household chores."Marriage is nothing more than a social contract where the husband promises the wife food and security while the wife will take care of the household duties. If the wife fails to deliver, the husband should leave the wife," said Bhagawat as per a Times Now report.[caption id="attachment_579089" align="alignleft" width="380"] RSS head Mohan Bhagawat.[/caption]Last Tuesday, the RSS head shocked the country when he said crimes like rapes "... hardly take place in Bharat, but they occur frequently in India".And then, he decided to jump right in and explain his remark."You go to villages and forests of the country and there will be no such incidents of gangrape or sex crimes. They are prevalent in some urban belts. Besides new legislations, Indian ethos and attitude towards women should be revisited in the context of ancient Indian values," Bhagwat said, according to a Times of India report.
