JNU Row: Inquiry committee submits report, finds some students guilty of sloganeering

On Monday, Jawaharlal Nehru University's high level inquiry committee submitted a report on the 'anti-national' sloganeering event that took place in the campus premises on 9 February.According to a press release issued by the university, "some students have been found guilty." The JNU administration will issue show cause notices to the students.The committee was constituted by the vice chancellor of JNU to look into the incident. The committee submitted a unanimous report and found that some students were found to have violated JNU rules. According to this Indian Express report, the High Level Enquiry Committee (HLEC) was set up on 10 February and is a three-member committee. It had suspended eight students on 12 February.
