Infosys' Murthy is early bird at polling booth, waits half hour to cast vote

Bangalore: Infosys co-founder and emeritus chairman N.R. Narayana Murthy waited half an hour to cast his vote Sunday morning, as polling booth staff were still setting up the electronic voting machines when he arrived.At the upscale Jayanagar assembly segment here, where Murthy and family are registered as voters, an official of the Vijaya College polling booth admitted that voting began late as staff were busy checking machines to avoid problems later.[caption id="attachment_753131" align="alignleft" width="380"]
