Five-year-old girl raped at Old Delhi railway station
A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a drug addict at the parcel yard of Old Delhi railway station on Wednesday.

Reuters[/caption]According to the police, the incident came to light around 10.30 am on Wednesday when a passerby noticed the girl bleeding and informed the police.Police said the accused, who is on the run, has been identified as a man staying at a temple in the area, and a manhunt is on to catch him.The girl was bleeding profusely when she was reached the police, who took her to Aruna Asaf Ali hospital. Doctors confirmed that she had been raped after medical examination, a police officer said.The mother of the victim is a vagabond and earns her livelihood by begging near the railway station. She gave a complaint on the basis of which the police registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act at Old Delhi Railway Station, police said.PTI
