Fire in Delhi's Shahdara kills three, 10 injured

Three persons were charred to death and 10 others injured after a major fire broke out in a house in northeast Delhi's Shahdara area, officials said on Wednesday.

New Delhi: Three persons were charred to death and 10 others injured after a major fire broke out in a house in northeast Delhi's Shahdara area, officials said on Wednesday.[caption id="attachment_3083856" align="alignleft" width="380"]Representational image. PTI

Representational image. PTI[/caption]A call was received at 5:06 am about fire breaking out in the parking area of a house. The fire spread through the four-storeyed building, said a senior official from Delhi fire services.Five fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control by 6:30 am, the official said.Three persons were killed in the fire and are yet to be identified.The 10 injured people are currently undergoing treatment at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital.
