New Delhi: Uber rape accused Shiv Kumar Yadav who has been sent to Delhi's Tihar jail in judicial custody, has been kept under strict vigilance here. Tihar jail sources said that continuous watch is being kept on Yadav and security has been enhanced.Yadav who was sent to Tihar by a city court yesterday is being kept in cell number 18 of ward 10 of the high security prison. The 32-year-old cab driver was sent to Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital for his medical examination soon after his arrival in jail yesterday.[caption id="attachment_1847881" align="alignleft" width="380"]

Our men are keeping strict watch on him to avoid any mishap," a senior jail official said."He has been kept under strict vigilance and security will be kept tight. He has been kept with three more people, including a 70-year-old man, who won't possibly be any threat to him," the official said.Yadav who is accused of raping a 27-year-old woman on December 5 night, was yesterday sent in judicial custody till December 24 by a city court."His behaviour has been noted to be normal and nothing suspicious has come under our notice as of now," he said.PTI
