Delhi Metro files FIR over leakage of CCTV footage of couples to porn sites

New Delhi, July 9 (IANS) Taking cognizance of leaked CCTV clippings of couples' intimate moments in trains that were uploaded on porn sites, the Delhi Metro Tuesday filed a FIR (first information report) with the cyber crime cell of Delhi Police."The Delhi Metro management has taken serious cognizance of these reports and has filed an FIR with the cyber crime cell," a Delhi Metro statement said.[caption id="attachment_943963" align="alignleft" width="380"]Representational image Representational image[/caption]Delhi Metro blamed the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for the leakage as it monitors CCTV footage. However, CISF refuted the allegations and clarified that they are just the "monitoring agency"."It seems that the uploaded video clips have been shot via mobile phones and not through CCTVs of Delhi Metro. An inquiry has been ordered. All the CCTV footage tapes are handled by Delhi Metro," CISF spokesperson Hemendra Singh told IANS.According to a Hindustan Times report, "More than 250 clips of couples on near-empty trains have been made into two- to eight-minute videos and uploaded on these sites, a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) official told Hindustan Times requesting anonymity."Apparently, several of the videos had been uploaded as early as 2011.IANS
