Delhi assembly condemns attack on AAP Dalit councillor during joint MCD session

The BJP has always been anti-Dalit", said legislator Alka Lamba.Another AAP legislator, Rakhi Birla, called the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi "anti-Dalit."This is an anti-Dalit government, Birla said.The AAP legislators urged the police to register a case against those who attacked the councillor.The Delhi government had called a two-day special assembly session on Thursday and Friday to discuss issues of corruption in the BJP-led civic bodies.In a counter move, the three civic bodies called a joint session for the first time since their trifurcation in 2012 to discuss issues related to the Delhi government.
