CPI(M) leader blames BJP for stone pelting incident at party office in T’puram

Thiruvananthapuram: Unknown miscreants allegedly pelted stones at the District headquarters of the ruling party – CPI (M) in the state capital early of Saturday.Party leader Anavoor Nagappan alleged the role of the BJP behind the attack. The BJP has not reacted to the allegations.The incident occurred around 2AM when the suspects came on multiple bikes. “As many as nine men came on three bikes and pelted stones at the building and the vehicles parked in the courtyard of the office,” a police official told PTI.The windscreens of the vehicles parked in the courtyard of the building were damaged in the stone pelting, he said.The cops have lodged an FIR under relevant sections of disturbing peace against the unidentified suspects.
