Car seva: Hindu Mahasabha activists set Dawood's auctioned Hyundai Accent on fire

Ghaziabad: A car belonging to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, which was auctioned recently in Mumbai, was on Wednesday set afire by activists of the Hindu Mahasabha in Indirapuram in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh.[caption id="attachment_2557102" align="alignleft" width="380"] File photo. Image courtesy: ibnlive[/caption]The burning of the car was a symbolic targeting of terrorism, said Swami Chakrapani, the national president of All India Hindu Mahasabha who bought the green Hyundai Accent car in the auction on 9 December.Dawood is wanted in India for the 1993 serial bomb blasts in Mumbai that killed 257 people and injured nearly a 1,000 others.At an auction of Dawood's properties held in Mumbai on December 9, Chakrapai bid successfully for the green Hyundai Accent car for a mere Rs 32,000."Earlier I wanted to covert the car into an ambulance, but when D-company's (Dawood gang's) henchmen threatened me to be ready to face the consequences, I decided to give a reply to him in his own language.
