Azam Khan blames Babri Masjid demolition for growth of terrorism

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Urban Development and Minority Affairs Minister Azam Khan has cited the demolition of the Babri mosque in Ayodhya as the reason for the growth of terrorism in India.The Samajwadi Party leader made the comment at an election rally in Faizabad city on Sunday. Khan said no one had ever heard of "AK-47, RDX and terrorism" until the 6 December, 1992 event in Ayodhya.[caption id="attachment_1413157" align="alignleft" width="380"]Azam Kha in this file photo.
