Another dalit girl gangraped in Uttar Pradesh
The incident comes just three days after the shocking gangrape case of two dalit sisters in Badaun in the state, whose bodies were found hanging from a tree.

Azamgarh: A teenage dalit girl was allegedly gangraped by four persons in Saraimeer area of the district, police said today. The incident took place last night when four men allegedly caught the 17-year-old girl here and gangraped her in a nearby field, they said. The accused have been identified as Mukesh, Arvind, Vikram and Durgesh. Police said all four accused fled the spot after the crime.[caption id="attachment_1318283" align="alignleft" width="380"]

The incident, which triggered protests in parts of the state, has led to the sacking of two constables as the UP government promised to set up a fast track court to punish the culprits. The two girls, who were cousins and aged 14 and 15, went missing from their house on the night of 27 May and their bodies were found hanging from a mango tree in the village in Ushait area the next morning.PTI
