Another Bihar shocker: 15 kids fall ill in Madhubani after midday meal

The 15 children have been admitted to the hospital and two of them are in critical condition

Just one day after 21 children died because they ate contaminated food in the Chhapra region of Bihar, reports are coming in that another 15 children have fallen ill after eating their midday meal in Madhubani district.[caption id="attachment_963281" align="alignleft" width="380"]Reuters Reuters[/caption]CNN-IBN reported that a lizard had been found inside the container used to cook the vegetables served to the children. The 15 children have been admitted to a hospital and two of them are in critical condition, the channel added.Meanwhile, the principal of the Chhapra school which witnessed the deaths of 22 children, has been suspended and an FIR has been filed against her. There are also investigations on to determine what caused the deaths, with locals insisting that the children were poisoned.Over 60 children are still ill after eating the meal and are receiving treatment in Patna. Of this, ten are in critical condition.
