Soldier, porter injured in two blasts in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu: An Army jawan was injured when an old unexploded ordinance device exploded accidentally along the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.Army troopers were clearing the area near the LoC in Laam sector when the device exploded, resulting in injuries to Naik Jagtar Singh on Sunday evening, an Army officer said.[caption id="attachment_938171" align="alignleft" width="380"]![Injured trooper. In another incident, a porter was injured in a blast along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir early today, an Army official said.The blast took place when a group of 11 porters was taking supplies from one post to another in Sabzian-Mandi beltof Pooch, the official said. The injured porter was rushed to a local hospital, he said.Army officials are probing the matter. PTI
