Bangalore: Karnataka Governor HR Bhardwaj today accepted the resignation of Public Works Minister C.M. Udasi and Energy Minister Shobha Karandlaje from the Jagadish Shettar cabinet, an official statement said.[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="380"]

Yeddyurappa and submitted their resignation Shettar Wednesday.Udasi, Karandlaje and 11 other BJP assembly members have also decided to quit the assembly as part of Yeddyurappa's plan to prevent Shettar from presenting the 2013-14 budget on Feb 8.They wanted to quit Wednesday but could not submit the resignation letters to Speaker K. G. Bopaiah as he was not present. Now they would do so on 28 January.IANS
