Karnataka CM visits Yeddy in hospital
Current Chief Minister of Karnataka D V Sadananda Gowda and some of his ministerial colleagues have visited former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa in hospital.

Bangalore: Current Chief Minister of Karnataka D V Sadananda Gowda and some of his ministerial colleagues have visited former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa in hospital. Yeddyurappa, who was sent to judicial custody yesterday, was shifted to a hospital from jail early this morning after he complained of chest pain.
Home Minister R Ashoka, Minister for Water Resources Basavaraj Bommai, Excise Minister M P Renukacharaya, Law Minister S Suresh Kumar and Energy Minister Shobha Karandlaje also visited him, the sources said.They said Yeddyurappa, a chronic diabetic, was now sufferring from high blood pressure.Doctors at the Jayadeva institute of Cardiology wo examined Yeddyurappa have said that his condition is stated to be stable.The Special Lokayukta court yesterday rejected bail and issued an arrest warrant against Yeddyurappa who has been facing allegations of denotifying government land violating rules when he was the chief minister.The BJP leader later surrendered before the court, which remanded him to judicial custody till 22 October.
