Joe Biden's brother receives anthrax from India

US Vice President Joe Biden's younger brother has received a suspicious package in his mail from India, containing a powdery substance, which the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has ruled as anthrax.

[caption id="attachment_98426" align="alignleft" width="380" caption="Jor Biden's (in the pic) brother heads a non-profit school in Florida, which operates eight tuition-free charter schools. Reuters"][/caption]Washington: US Vice President Joe Biden's younger brother has received a suspicious package in his mail from India, containing a powdery substance, which the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has ruled as anthrax.Neither the law enforcement authorities nor Biden's brother Francis Biden could say where in India this package was mailed from. The package was addressed to Francis, who was taken to hospital after the suspicious white powder from the package spilled onto his hand once he opened it.Biden immediately called the police, who evacuated the neighborhood. Biden, 57, and his girlfriend Mindy, who had collected the package, were taken to a nearby hospital. They have both been released.Biden heads a non-profit school in Florida, which operates eight tuition-free charter schools. These schools accept students who have either dropped out of school or are in danger of dropping out.
