New Delhi, Oct 18 (IANS) Four persons, including two Afghan nationals, were arrested for trafficking banned drugs here, police said Saturday.
Hamidullah from Afghanistan and Saifullah and Sajid from Kerala were arrested Oct 12 from south Delhi's Lajpat Nagar area.
A police officer said: "Another associate and the mastermind Mohd. Ehsaan, also of Afghanistan, were arrested from the same area Friday after the revelation by Hamidullah."
Police recovered 890 grams of fine quality heroin from them. Hamidullah had brought the drugs for delivery to Saifullah and Sajid.
The consignment was to be later distributed in other parts of the country.
The racket was running for the past few months.
