Belgium has more comic book authors per square kilometer than any other country in the world. Comic book art is part of the Belgian cultural heritage. In order to display this heritage, the Embassy is organising a cultural event on the Belgian comic book hero Tintin at Teen Murti Bhawan.[caption id="attachment_206173" align="alignleft" width="380" caption="Getty Images"]
[/caption]The following activities will take place:• A series of screenings of film documentaries and cartoons on Tintin;• An exhibition of Tintin memorabilia and art;• A panel discussion on Tintin and Hergé, for which the Embassy has invited i.a. the former assistant of Hergé, Mr. Alain Baran, as well as the director of one of the film documentaries, Mr. Henri de Gerlache.Where: Teen Murti Auditorium.
