Champions League: Mumbai Indians fined for slow over rate in semifinal

Mumbai Indians have been fined after maintaining a slow over rate during their Champions League Twenty20 semifinal against Trinidad and Tobago at the Ferozeshah Kotla here.[caption id="attachment_1155765" align="alignleft" width="380"]PTI PTI[/caption]At the end of Saturday's match, the Indians were assessed to be an over behind the required rate, after allowances were taken into consideration.Skipper Rohit Sharma has been fined $1,500 while each team member has been fined $750."This was his (Sharma's) second offence of the season under the CLT20’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences and Mr. Sharma was fined US$1,500 whilst each team member was fined US$750," said a CLT20 statement Sunday.IANS
