Blast at Aurobindo Pharma's AP plant, three workers injured

According to the police, three workers received burn injuries when a reactor exploded at the generic drug-maker's Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) manufacturing plant.
"As per the initial information we received, there was a reactor blast at the facility. Three persons were injured and they were taken to a hospital in Visakhapatnam for treatment,"
Ranastalam police inspector Venugopal Naidu told PTI.
When contacted, a company spokesperson said they are yet to receive information on the mishap.
