Bengali actress Suchitra Sen hospitalised with wrist injury
Legendary actress Suchitra Sen has been hospitalised in a private hospital with a wrist injury, an official of the hospital said on Friday.

Kolkata: Legendary actress Suchitra Sen has been hospitalised in a private hospital with a wrist injury, an official of the hospital said on Friday."She has been admitted yesterday (Thursday) with a wrist injury. Right now she is doing well. She has been treated and will be released within next two-three days," said P.K. Courtesy: ibn live[/caption]The 81-year-old, a living legend of Bengali cinema, ruled millions of hearts during 1960s and 1970s with her acting skills in films such as "Sharey Chuattor", "Uttar Falguni" and "Deep Jweley Jai", which was remade in Hindi as "Khamoshi".She proved her versatility with Hindi movies like "Devddas", "Aandhi" and "Mamta".Her popularity transcended borders when she became the first Bengali actress win an international award - in 1963, she was awarded Best Actress award for "Saat Paake Bandha" at the Moscow film festival.However, she had withdrawn from public life after quitting movies in late 1970s.She has a daughter, actress Moon Moon Sen.IANS
