BCCI launches programme to unearth bowling talent

The NCA faculty will conduct Open Trials for pacemen and spinners in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand and Chhatisgarh, over the next few weeks.

Arko Datta/Reuters"]BCCI[/caption]The NCA faculty will conduct Open Trials for pacemen and spinners in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand and Chhatisgarh, over the next few weeks.Boys between the age of 17 and 22 will be eligible to attend the trials. They should not have played in any BCCI–run tournament.Karsan Ghavri and Yoginder Puri will supervise the trials and shortlist the bowlers.The schedule of the programme is as follows:Himachal Pradesh - 18 and 19 February - Venue: Dharamshala                                 Jammu & Kashmir - 22 and 23 February – Venue: JammuJharkhand - 25 and 26 February – Venue: RanchiChhattisgarh - 28 and 29 February – Venue: Raipur
