Bata India Q3 net up 48.81% at Rs 30.42 crore
Footwear and accessories maker Bata India today posted 46.81 percent increase in its net profit for the third quarter ended 30 September, 2011 at Rs 30.42 crore, compared to the same period last fiscal.

For the quarter ended 30 September, 2010, the company's net profit was Rs 20.72 crore, it said in a filing to the BSE.
Bata India's net sales jumped 26.80 percent to Rs 369.98 crore for the third quarter of the current fiscal, as against Rs 291.78 crore during the three months ended September 30, 2010.
The company's scrips were trading at Rs 718.90 per share on the BSE, up 1.32 percent from the previous close.
