AIIMS staffer arrested for kidnapping 2-year-old
The man worked in the AIIMS hospital as a maintenance staff and was found travelling in the bus with the child.

New Delhi: An AIIMS employee was arrested tonight for allegedly kidnapping a two-year-old child from Safdarjung Enclave in south Delhi, police said.The incident occurred this afternoon when the accused, identified as Deepak was traveling in a bus with the child, who was crying inconsolably.[caption id="attachment_1221791" align="alignleft" width="380"]

PTI[/caption]When some fellow passengers asked him as to why the child was crying, the accused who was in an inebriated state snubbed them, police said.Following this, the passengers confronted him and handed him over to the police."His identity was established with the help of a card found in his pocket. He works at AIIMS hospital as a maintenance staff," a police official said.Further investigations into the incident are on, he added.PTI
