'Aarakshan should be shown to everyone'

[caption id="attachment_58760" align="alignleft" width="380" caption="Image taken from ibnlive"][/caption]Chandigarh: A member of the Central Board of Film Certification today said Aarakshan' is "not a controversial film" and "has nothing against anyone".R R Gill, who watched the film along with members of Schedule Castes, film artists and social activists, said, "The first half of the film is about reservation while the second half deals with the commercialisation of education.""The film should be shown to all as it has nothing wrong against the SC/OBC/ST," he said in a statement.The film was banned in UP and Andhra Pardesh. Punjab imposed an interim ban on the movie but has agreed to lift it on the condition that producers delete certain dialogues and scenes. Director of the film Prakash Jha has moved the Supreme Court to lift the ban in AP and UP saying the ban was in violation of his right to the freedom of expression. The case will be heard on Tuesday.
