Modi's wife, Rahul's girlfriend: What India is searching for
Here's what we made of the top search terms about our leading politicians, as revealed in a Google infographic.

Representational image.[/caption]According to a Google trends report, here is what the nation wants to know about our politicos:Narendra Modi's live speeches, biography and wife. Rahul Gandhi's interview, jokes, girlfriend. Arvind Kejriwal's news, family, resignation. What India wants to know about its politicians by FirstpostAnd what does that tell us about... umm... us? Possibly the following:- The Met should acquire Narendra Modi to fix its sloppy prediction results. Unless, he has a highly devoted analytics group working overtime, it's almost uncanny that he announced his Bharatvijay series of rallies (which threaten to break Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi's run-time record) almost simultaneously with Google releasing its most-searched data report. He has gifted the country 185 rallies and given that his live speeches are the top searched items, he just made the country very happy. NaMo on loop = Honey Singh after char bottle vodka, no?- Why are people searching for his biography on Google, when all you need to say is 'Narendra Modi who' on Twitter? Must be either Nitish Kumar fans who are offended that Taxila has been forcefully annexed to Bihar. Or Bengalis miffed at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee being Gujaratified without their permission or knowledge.- Who is searching for Modi's wife? I suspect,Salman Khurshid, Congress' candidate for Bigg Boss, like we noted earlier.- People have also been furiously searching for Rahul Gandhi's interviews. Sign that the country misses both Govinda and David Dhawan more than you had imagined.- We are also looking for Rahul's girlfriend. Hoping that Rahul would follow suit and leave the 'system' alone.- Oh, we are also searching for his jokes. Or jokes about him. Time Facebook made a JokeVille on Facebook where you got the most points for growing a Rahul joke. And send Digvijaya Singh requests to help you grow one. (Zuckerburg, are you listening?)- On the other hand, the only 'news' we care about is Arvind Kejriwal's. We are either closeted muffler connoisseurs (Bengalis and monkey caps, beware and feel threatened already) or we all suspected Kejriwal has some flu that even Modi has no fix for. Hence, we kept wanting 'news' of him everyday.- His family? Probably to figure out what kind of a wife would actually have the husband deny her a bungalow in Lutyens?- We have also searched extensively for Kejriwal's 'resignation'. Like every KKR fan (outside Bengal and not a Bengali) searched for 'Sourav Ganguly dumped by Shah Rukh after the first IPL series. With Kejriwal stomping all over the country, this is a search that will not die down anytime soon!

Narendra Modi channels Rahul, Kejriwal in latest interview
Narendra Modi's interview told us a lot about him and offered some valuable insights. Here are five.
Double standard: Why doesn't Narendra Modi answer RTIs?
The Gujarat govt has ducked an RTI query on Modi's attendance in the CMO, his Cabinet meetings and other meetings. If the Gujarat CM thinks RTI activists will slow down for a new government, he's far off the mark.
Amethi-ville Horror: 5 kinds of voters who are leaving Rahul
Rahul Gandhi should be very worried. Even if he saves his seat this time there are certain kinds of voters, traditional Congressi voters, who are deserting his party even in the most loyal bastions.
