Drought? No problem! Six sectors that benefit from a delayed monsoon

The Met department has forecasted monsoon to be below normal at 93 percent of the long period average. That's plain bad news. But, there are some sectors that are likely to benefit because of the dry spell. Here's a look at who will gain. The first one, is manufactures of Air Conditioners. These products are likely to pick up sales this year even if the rains pick up towards later part of the monsoon. This is because power generation is likely to suffer due to the deficient rains, which will warrant power cuts and long hours of load-sheddings.
