Disney inspired homes in Mumbai too!

New Delhi: Disney Consumer Products today said that it has tied-up with Mumbai-based real estate firm Sunteck Realty for launching Disney-branded homes in India.

As a part of the partnership, Sunteck will build Disney inspired swimming pool, play zone, party areas for kids and families within its upcoming 23-acres township 'Sunteck City' being developed in Mumbai.

"India is one of the first few countries where we will be bringing Disney inspired homes. We look forward to getting more real estate players on board to bring more Disney branded environments for our fans here," Disney UTV Managing Director, (Consumer Products, Retail and Publishing) Roshini Bakshi

said.

Disney inspired homes will also have Disney branded furnishing, home decor products, color palettes, bedding products and bath fittings.

The project is expected to generate a turnover of around Rs 10,000 crore for Sunteck Realty, the statement added. Commenting on the partnership, Sunteck Realty Chairman and Managing Director Kamal Khetan said: "Our association with Disney in Mumbai helps us differentiate our offering from the other players in the market and breaks through the clutter to offer families their dream home."

Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is the business segment of NYSE-listed Walt Disney Company that extends the Disney brand to merchandise. Sunteck Realty is a Mumbai focused real estate development company with a market capitalisation of approximately Rs 2,500 crore, the statement added.
