Colgate rejigs top deck: Issam Bachaalani appointed managing director

Bachaalani will replace Prabha Parameswaran, the current managing director who has been promoted and appointed as the president-Africa, Eurasia Division and will relocate to Switzerland, Colgate Palmolive India Ltd said in a filing to the BSE.

New Delhi: In a top-level management change, FMCG major Colgate Palmolive India on Monday appointed Issam Bachaalani as its managing director for a period of five years with effect from October 1.

"Consequently, Prabha Parameswaran will cease to be the Managing Director of Colgate Palmolive India Ltd with effect from October 1," it added.

She will assume the new responsibility of Colgate's vast and diverse Africa, Eurasia region effective October 1, 2014, the company said.

Colgate-Palmolive is present in the segments of oral care, personal care, home care and professional oral care.
