Coke joins click & order bandwagon, starts online home delivery store

In a first, Coca Cola India has joined the e-commerce bandwagon hoping to cash in on the growing number of consumers over the internet.
"Now, you can conveniently order Coke from your mobile and get it delivered toyour home at best prices," says the FMGC company's retail website Coke2Home.com.
Launched by Hindustan Coca-Cola, the store recently went live in Ahmedabad to test the waters online and plans on opening in more cities soon.

According to the website, the average minimum order has to be Rs 300 but the products will only be delivered on the same day if the order is placed before noon.
The list of beverages include Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Thums Up, Sprite, Fanta, Limca, Kinley Soda, Schweppes Tonic Water, Maaza, Minute Maid, Pulpy Orange, Minute Maid Nimbu Fresh, Minute Maid Juices (Apple, Grapes, Orange, Mixed Fruit), and water.
For verification purposes,users have to enter a valid phone number while placing an order for products available on the Website.
