Citrix India appoints ex-AWS exec Jatin Bakshi to head cloud networking portfolio
Jatin Bakshi will be responsible for performance of cloud networking portfolio at Citrix for Indian & SAARC markets.

Citrix has appointed Jatin Bakshi as business head of its cloud networking portfolio for the India Subcontinent. In his new role, Bakshi will be responsible for performance of cloud networking portfolio at Citrix for Indian & SAARC markets.He would be working closely with customers and partners to accelerate adoption of Citrix’s innovations in Application Delivery networks, WAN optimisation and Virtualisation as customers are looking at virtualising their data centre networks., the company stated.[caption id="attachment_2321248" align="alignleft" width="380" class=" "]
Jatin Bakshi[/caption]Prior to this, Bakshi was associated with Amazon Web Services in a business development role, where he worked closely with leading technology startups. His core responsibilities during the time included leveraging cloud to deliver the scalability and innovation that was required by start-ups to support exponential business growth.“With disruptive technologies like mobile, cloud and analytics transforming business applications, optimising application delivery strategy becomes critical for user experience and business success. Jatin’s appointment strengthens our focus on the networking segment and his rich experience will be an asset to Citrix’s Indian business," Parag Arora, Area Vice President & Country Head – India Subcontinent, Citrix said.Previously, Jatin has handled sales and product management responsibilities at Oracle, NetApp, British Telecom and Avaya. Jatin holds an MBA degree from IIM-Ahmedabad.
