Wipro To Offer Disaster Recovery Service To Enterprises

Wipro Infotech will offer a disaster recovery assurance service to enterprises in India and the Middle East to meet the desired recovery objectives when disasters occur, the IT bellwether said in a recent announcement.

"The disaster recovery (DR) assurance service is designed to achieve faster and efficient recovery through automation of workflows and processes, which otherwise would require manual intervention, consuming a lot of time and effort," the company said in its statement.

The offer encompasses proactive and reactive DR services, aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of DR systems. The services are proactive DR, DR recovery, DR drill and DR continuity. The package also enables seamless and uninterrupted functioning of DR operations.

The service is powered by the disaster recovery management suite of products from Sanovi Technologies, a provider of DR management software solutions.
