Wipro To Handle IT Infrastructure For Spencer's
Wipro will provide IT infrastructure support for Spencer's stores, distribution centres, regional and zonal offices, apart from also supporting future store roll outs over the five year period.
Wipro Infotech has won an IT outsourcing contract from Spencer's Retail, a part of RPG Enterprises. Spencer’s Retail is a multi-format, food-first retailer, providing an assortment of products to its key consumer segment of SEC A, in the age group of 25 – 34.
Spencer's has selected Wipro for delivering Infrastructure Management Services for a period of five years. As part of the scope, Wipro is responsible for providing IT infrastructure support for all the stores, distribution centres, regional and zonal offices for Spencer's, apart from also supporting future store roll outs over the five year period.
Wipro will leverage its Global Service Management Centre, Mysore, to provide real time information through dashboards, thus making the entire delivery process more proactive for Spencer’s. This IT service delivery transformation will benefit Spencer's with cost efficiencies, enhancing IT system availability and streamlining the IT delivery process.
