Superfil Selects SYSTIME For Oracle EBS Implementation

As Superfil's existing legacy system, built on FOXPRO, proved inadequate to handle information flow between different functions within the organisation, it became necessary for Superfil to migrate to Oracle EBS.

In a recent development, Superfil Products has decided to adopt Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), a comprehensive suite of business applications, to meet their growing business demands. As their existing legacy system, built on FOXPRO, proved inadequate to handle information flow between different functions within the organisation, it became necessary for Superfil to migrate to Oracle EBS.

SYSTIME was selected from among a number of vendors to supply licences for the software. SYSTIME enjoys a strong alliance with Oracle, which worked in its favour. Besides, SYSTIME has a huge JD Edwards practice in India and experience in delivering enterprise solutions based on Oracle software across various industry segments in the country.

Superfil Products, established in 1986 with headquarters in Chennai, initially manufactured fishing nets for the domestic market. It has now grown into a multi-product company that caters to the stringent requirements of various global markets with a wide range of synthetic filament products. In addition, it manufactures products for industrial applications. The company has a turnover of Rs 60 million with five manufacturing units spread across Tamil Nadu.
