SAP Unveils SAP Rapid Development Soln
The solutions can be deployed as fast as within 12 weeks, and provide greater transparency into aspects such as costs and timelines.
SAP has launched SAP Rapid Deployment solutions, new offerings that deliver fast implementation in a fixed scope model through a single, ready-to-use package of software, predefined services and pre-configured content at a predefined price. The solutions can be deployed as fast as within 12 weeks, and provide greater transparency into aspects such as costs and timelines.
The first SAP Rapid Deployment solutions are based on SAP Business Suite applications for customer relationship management (CRM) and are now available to Indian enterprises. The SAP CRM rapid-deployment solutions comprise fixed-price, scalable, predefined software implemented within six to eight weeks for companies to address business priorities and gain time-to-value quickly while also paving a flexible path toward future growth.
SAP Rapid Deployment solutions for supplier relationship management (SRM) and business communications management (BCM) are planned for release. Further solutions spanning the SAP portfolio are planned for release at multiple stages over the next year across diverse industries and in areas such analytics, manufacturing, mobility, recruiting, sustainability and treasury.
"SAP Rapid Deployment solutions offer our customers a new model for their software, with an emphasis on time to value and reduced cost, while retaining the flexibility to scale up in the future," said Alok Goyal, Chief Operating Officer, SAP India. "The solution-specific software, services and content out-of-the-box enables quick and easy implementation to holistically address our customers CRM needs, taking a step forward in attaining customer satisfaction and service vision."
The solutions will be available 'out of the box' by traditional on-premise and subscription licensing models, via partners or from SAP. To meet the increasing need to find the fastest time to value for customers, the SAP Consulting organisation and a growing ecosystem of partners offer predefined, fixed-price services to implement the packages.
