Oracle And HP Deliver Business Solutions For Midsize Companies

Oracle and HP have teamed to deliver complete software, hardware and service solutions, comprising combinations of Oracle Accelerate and HP reference configurations, for midsize companies. HP and Oracle will promote this new offering by launching a global tour of customer-focused events.

HP reference configurations for Oracle are guidelines for HP servers, storage and software that are based on joint HP and Oracle engineering expertise and best practices.

“In order for businesses to be competitive in today’s global marketplace they need to be enabled with affordable, easy-to-own IT solutions that are as powerful and secure as enterprise systems,” said Oracle senior vice president, Global Accelerate Programme Office, Tony Kender. “With hardware from a platform industry leader like HP and world-class applications from Oracle, customers can address their entire spectrum of IT challenges in a single instance and within budget.”

The offering from Oracle and HP combines Oracle Accelerate solutions with a range of HP storage and server technology, including the HP BladeSystem c3000, HP StorageWorks products, and HP ProLiant and HP Integrity servers. Specifically, customers and partners can currently take advantage of these application configurations based on HP server and storage technology for the Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
