Novell Chooses AppLabs' Facility

Software company Novell has chosen AppLabs’ India based centre to be a lead Novell Authorized Testing Centre (NATC) and provide SUSE Linux and Novell NetWare YES certification testing in the country.

According to Novell, the relationship between Novell and AppLabs will provide significant access to all hardware and software vendors in India who desire to get their products certified for compatibility with Novell products.

Commenting on the announcement, Dipto Chakravarty, vice president of Engineering for Novell, stated, "Given the depth of AppLabs’ knowledge of Novell products and success achieved to date, we expect to extend the NATC initiative with them to enable Novell’s indirect routes to market for SUSE Linux as well as Sentinel, Identity Manager, and Access Manager products. We are working with AppLabs on several other initiatives, including hands-on training, to support our partners globally."
