NETGEAR Upgrades ReadyNAS Pro Business Edition

NETGEAR, a global networking company that delivers innovative products to consumers, businesses and Internet service providers, has announced that NETGEAR ReadyNAS Pro family of business storage products (Pro 6,Pro 4,Pro 2,2100 and 3100 Series) is now supporting 3TB HDD with the firmware 4.2.16 or later. The ReadyNAS Pro family delivers higher performance and reliability than comparable consumer storage products, enabling VMware, Microsoft, hybrid cloud and disk-based backup and recovery solutions.

The new ReadyNAS Pro family includes 2-bay, 4-bay, and 6-bay desktop products that deliver the right throughput, warranty and disk drive specifications for business applications, as well as a complete range of 3rd party certifications.

The solution is ideal for reliable small-scale virtualisation projects and hybrid cloud services. It also possesses VMware Ready certification for vSphere and Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 certification for Hyper-V.
