With SAP ERP, Havmor to restructure its business processes and improve operational efficiencies.
SAP India, a subsidiary of SAP AG, has announced that Havmor Ice Cream Ltd has added the perfect ingredient to power its ambitious growth plans. By implementing the latest version of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) application SAP ERP, Ahmedabad-based Havmor is able to restructure its business processes and significantly improve operational efficiencies.
Havmor commands over 35 percent of the market share and has a dealership network of more than 20,000 across the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. The company plans to double its presence in India by next year and belongs to the select club of small businesses undergoing a fast transition toward becoming midsize enterprises. Cost-effective solutions like SAP ERP help these companies optimise their business, enabling them to compete with the best and achieve their targets faster.
Under the project “Mission Kamyaab”, the software was deployed within six months across Havmor’s head office an, its factory and state-of-the-art central kitchen, as well as three other locations in Ahmedabad, all with the implementation partner CMC Limited. With the implementation of SAP ERP, the company has significantly improved the order fulfillment process and streamlined the business process, and has brought about much-needed flexibility in business processes to support the expected rapid growth in transaction volumes.
