Elitecore Targets Indian Security Market

Elitecore Technologies, the makers of Cyberoam identity-based unified threat management (UTM) appliances, is eyeing the Indian security market in a big way. The company has appointed Redington (India) as its national distributor for Cyberoam UTM.

The tie-up is expected to generate revenue of over Rs 36 crore during the current financial year. Recently, Elitecore also named YOU Telecom as a national system integrator partner for Cyberoam.

Cyberoam’s existing regional distributors and resellers will henceforth work through Redington. Anand Chakravarthy, head, Networking SBU, Redington India, said, “Cyberoam, with its identity-based security, is recognised as the only next-generation UTM product. As such, Cyberoam is a value addition to our security offerings. Cyberoam UTM has a strong R&D and support base in India. These factors, in combination with our committed channel partners will soon see Cyberoam holding a leading position in the security market.”
