Dimension Data Wins Cisco TelePresence Global ATP Status
Cisco TelePresence combines the reach, intelligence and reliability of the network with the simplicity of a telephone interface to deliver an entirely new way for people to meet and collaborate.
Dimension Data, an IT solutions and services provider, has been awarded TelePresence Global Authorised Technology Provider (ATP) status from Cisco. This achievement places Dimension Data among a select group of partners that have presence in all five Cisco theatres with the skills to sell, design, install and support Cisco TelePresence globally.
Cisco TelePresence is a solution that creates live, face-to-face experiences over an Internet Protocol (IP) network. It combines the reach, intelligence and reliability of the network with the simplicity of a telephone interface to deliver an entirely new way for people to meet and collaborate.
"Cisco TelePresence changes the entire realm of communications and collaboration," said Richard McLeod, director of Unified Communications for Worldwide Channels at Cisco. "This is an outstanding accomplishment for Dimension Data and demonstrates its desire to develop expertise in the new world of complex networking technologies and ranks it among an elite group of companies qualified to deploy Cisco TelePresence globally."
