Cable&Wireless Worldwide has secured three industry standard certifications that ratify the quality of the company's business capabilities. Cable&Wireless was awarded the certifications following a rigorous audit of its business continuity processes, information security management systems and ability to provide advanced specialised, Cisco integrated solutions, with exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.

Cable&Wireless has earned the BS 25999 accreditation for business continuity. The BS 25999 standard, introduced in 2007, establishes the processes, principles and terminology of business continuity management (BCM). The standard focuses on broad business continuity goals and is applicable to organisations of any size, globally.

Customers of Cable&Wireless Worldwide can also now be more certain that it manages their security effectively, thanks to its new accreditation in Information Security. ISO 27001 is the globally recognised standard for information security management systems. Having this certification demonstrates the company's approach to information security risk management, the implementation of suitable controls and the commitment to meet its security needs.
