BSE Launches Mobile-Based Trading
BSE is the first Indian Exchange to launch the much awaited mobile trading.
Bombay Stock Exchange has launched mobile-based trading. The stock exchange has launched this platform in association with Marketplace Technologies, Technova Religare and Financial Techology.
BSE is the first Indian Exchange to launch the much awaited mobile trading. To begin with, more than 30 members have confirmed their participation and commencement on the first day itself. BSE will provide its members a test-environment to test the solution after which they can use the existing IML ids.
Speaking at the launch S Ramadorai, Chairman, BSE said, "We have received an encouraging response with participation from over 30 brokerage firms. The platform will make trading accessible on mobile phones. We believe that this will advance the development of financial inclusion through higher penetration of capital markets, of course, by leveraging the mobile telecom infrastructure in the country."
