Avinash Agrawal To Head Narus India Operations As MD
Agrawal will be responsible for Narus' Indiawide operation and directly overseeing Narus' R&D efforts in India.
California-based Narus, a provider of real-time traffic intelligence for large IP networks, has announced that Avinash Agrawal has been appointed to lead Narus India operations as Managing Director and would operate from the company's Bangalore facility. Agrawal brings more than 30 years of experience in global software and management services. In this role, he will be responsible for Narus' Indiawide operation and directly overseeing Narus' R&D efforts in India.
Agrawal’s vast experience has centered on building software companies in India and scaling them to deliver high-quality products and solutions for a global customer base. Before joining Narus, Agrawal was president and CEO of Merge Healthcare’s operations in India, focusing on software development, vendor management and sales of Merge solutions in India. Prior to joining Merge, Agrawal served as managing director at Paragon Solutions, later acquired by First Consulting Group. There, he focused on software development and eventually grew the company to more than 500 employees.

Agrawal holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi in India, and a post-graduate degree in Operation Research from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.
