*astTECS To Offer Asterisk Based Telephony Solutions
*astTECS will primarily offer Asterisk-based telephony solutions and completely configured product bundles for 100 users onwards, which can be readily deployed at customer premises.
*astTECS, a Bangalore-based telecom technology and solutions company, has announced that it will offer Asterisk-based telephony solutions in India, an open source development with features like IVR, voicemail and call conferencing.
*astTECS would primarily offer Asterisk-based telephony solutions and completely configured product bundles for 100 users onwards, which could be readily deployed at customer premises. Its technical team will provide support right from installation, configuration to upgrades. The sales team would also offer training and toolkits to the resellers and accompany them to the customer's premises for live on-the-call training.
Despite being a powerful IP PBX, Asterisk lags in mass penetration due to the absence of an ecosystem comprising marketing/ sales tools, positioning, product bundles and technical support.
"*astTECS' primary objective is to create an ecosystem and enable the channels to achieve a mass penetration for Asterisk," said Devasia Kurian, MD, *astTECS. "Our objective is to tap the larger share of the Indian PBX market in the near future," he added.
