AppLabs Releases SOA Survey Results

AppLabs, a testing and quality management company has announced the results of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) survey it undertook to showcase the growing interest in SOA adoption across the organisations worldwide.

The research sampled over 100 IT professionals from Fortune 500 companies, focused on four key areas of SOA – Planning, Adoption, Benefits & Risks and Quality Management and Testing issues. This analysis of the information indicates that there needs to be a fundamental shift in the testing approach towards SOA. The survey confirms the wide adoption of SOA in organisations and that it is fast becoming the default choice for integration for both internal and external business applications.

Graham Smith, Head of Client Engagement, AppLabs Europe said that "While 38% of organisations are already on track with their SOA implementation, 43% are still in the planning stage."
